I’ve been pro gay rights my entire life and went to some of the biggest marches in world history. And back then it wasn’t just like the safe thing to do.

I already said I'm dialing back the whole calling people individually homophobic based on their preference... I'm just saying homophobia plays into it as a general trend. Homophobia and sexual repression in general. Most people are prudes. If that seems harsh to you then so be it. You did call that lady a racist for not ****ing black guys tho.
