I sympathize with your point jdubbs but you're using the kind of gotcha logic that homophobes use to say that lesbian sex isn't real sex, just foreplay. Things just aren't that cut and dry when it comes to sexuality.

I almost guarantee there's more gay guys who would say yes to a woman if they were convinced she could lay pipe well than straight guys who are into getting pegged by women who would do the same gender swap.

That's cause there's no stigma to going straight.

It depends on how gay they are. I think you underestimate that, for instance to me a guy is not simply 'not particularly attractive'. Not that I find all guys repulsive, far from it, but it's just not sexual. To be fair, of course I've wondered about my limits for having sex with a guy and honestly I have no idea what they are exactly. But the logic of not seeing them anyway if they're behind you is as primitive as my cat hiding from me by putting his head behind a curtain. Also I think men are generally less picky when it comes to sexual partners than women.

Generally probably but still case by case enough to not be that relevant. Having a sexual preference shouldn’t get you labeled a ——phobe. It’s a personal choice not a political one. A lot of gay me only want sex with other gay men and don’t want trans anything. That’s not hate that’s just comfortable boundaries for an individual who has autonomy over his (in this case) body.

I agree, but jwb is right that many straight men repress part of that sexual preference (out of homophobia)
And I guess some people's sexuality is more strongly linked to which genitals you have, so then being trans matters. That's ok too
