Am I wrong though?

Wasn't the point of newspeak to both limit thought through limiting language and letting the ambiguity of the words make it easier to manipulate the public?

And I'm not agreeing with Elph and saying that you used the word wrong. I disagree with your point but you used the word right.

I just think setting clear boundaries on the meaning of a word so it can't just mean what ever you want it to mean isn't Orwellian.
