what's the point in even preserving humanity if it's by something as horrific as eugenics

I’m not even admitting that it is eugenics but as is my style I will own it anyway.

The reason is after the population is culled humanity can learn its lesson and exists for thousands and thousands of generations and do incredible things.

Just like I’m not going to kill myself now because Hitler killed Jews then.

And I don’t even care if it makes me a Hitler. That still doesn’t make it untrue. It’s just makes it untenable to those who lack the fortitude to face it.

So either it's possible to fight climate change and therefore you also have to come up with a way to also fight these corporations or these corporations know that this is all a fool's errand and it doesn't matter what you do. But either way in the best circumstance you have an enemy in these corporations and you need to deal with them. What is your plan for dealing with them? Just having a plan to deal with climate change is at best half the battle.

Like I said our best bet is intensive research and development into the technologies of renewable energy at a sustainable and cost competitive level. This is how you drive the competition out of business. There is nothing they can do about it once the technology is there on offer on the market. The way they will fight back is to prevent any such effort on behalf of the govt to do this research. And they will fight hard. That's why the only path forward is to mount enough political pressure to make it happen anyway. That's the hard part. That's why I said there's nothing easy or even likely about it. I don't see it happening based on the current trajectories. I've just yet to hear of a better approach, as I said.

Hi. I don’t want people to be the cause of climate change so I’m going to make up ridiculous and wild theories why people aren’t what they are and that causes don’t have effects.

And if my argument is blunt it’s because it’s obvious you need to be bludgeoned with it. There’s no counter argument.
