Those who are undecided by the time of the debates most likely don't do things like "thinking", "fact-checking", or "caring about reality".
|
What will inspire the undecided or the uninclined to vote?
Edit: that’s for lisna but you as well frown |
I could be wrong, but my understanding of the undecided voter category is that it's made up of people planning to vote.
To get the uninclined to vote, we should make some Rock the Vote commercials with Lil Nas X and Kylie Jenner. |
Yep, Frownland and OH, I also imagine that very few viewers will change their position because of the debate - especially considering that some people have voted already. It's a little strange given the amount of anticipation (even here in this thread) and the probable size of audience.

It’s entertaining
I love watching debates |
I still am skeptical if the debates will happen, though I do really want to see it. Hopefully, Joe and Donald can have a nice, rational discussion about the Supreme Court.
|
Yes, from what I see the Supreme Court nom is a very contentious issue, and with good reason with so much apparently hanging in the balance of Supreme Court decisions, like abolishing the pre-existing conditions clause, the Roe vs Wade abortion stuff, and perhaps the outcome of the election too.
You couldn't invent the irony of what's going on with staunch Trump supporters at the moment: turn up at a rally and risk getting coronavirus to support a guy who is trying to rob you of affordable health care if you've acquired a pre-existing condition because you got coronavirus while turning up to support... This afternoon, Biden sounded quite convincing to me on the topic of masks, despite one or two stumbles with his statistics and "lessons learned" about half-way through:- |
Tbh I'm expecting the debates to be pretty boring
The only way I imagine them being entertaining is if Biden starts glitching out hardcore or if Trump springs some sort of performative surprise on him like he did Hillary. It's hard for me to imagine a scenario in which the debates are entertaining and also good for Biden. |

EDIT: yep, your comment about "performative surprise " is good too. But instead of Trump on Biden, there's also no shortage of candidates if the Biden campaign want a front-row of Trump's accusers of sexual misconduct. |
Unless this 'doddering old man' act has all been an elaborate hustle and once he steps on that debate stage with a national spotlight on him, he busts out the old Joe that debated Paul Ryan.
