Here's to hoping that reverting to horse race political analysis will put us on the right path.

What's the alternative? Vague hippie talking points delivering us? We tried that before and it got us, Reagan.

And horse race politics re-elected him.

As for the Perfect Alternative that gives me license to criticize something, we can talk about our favourite IED techniques.

Maybe the worst argument I've ever seen you put up. If three wins in a row from the GOP didn't signal that the New Deal had run out its usefulness, and was now being lorded over by a bunch of hacks who cared about power more than the people, I don't know what to tell you.

But it's occurring to me now that you think "history" is included in "horse-race politics." Which is shameful.

Reagan won because he deserved it, not because of masturbatory binary neoliberal discourse promoting him. Got it.

If I had a nickel for every time you constructed some Bad Man narrative about me in order to avoid introspection, I'd have...probably two bucks, we don't talk that much.

Funny word.
Earned would be better.
Plus, I could have beat Walter Mondale.

Ha! Thought for sure 1984 was the worst blowout ever.

What is the argument you're making here? That the voters were wrong? It's a ****ing democracy.

Maybe if you crack some more jokes your candidate will win. In fact I dare say Bernie lost because you weren't funny enough.
