It would honestly be much better if I never met another theocrat willing to kill/oppress people based on their beliefs

IDGAF what people believe

I care when their beliefs are extreme enough to affect the rest of us.. Which basically describes you at this point.

He's right though most atheists aren't purely rational despite not believing in God.

Not that this matters since you can be irrational and still less detrimental to society than someone who is rational and demands the same from the rest of us.

For sure, atheists are often irrational, just like most human beings. Even if they're correct (in my eyes) on one thing, they can be wrong on hundreds of others.

Not sure what you mean by rational people demaning sanity from the rest of us.
