Americans in my experience are good hosts. I've received a friendlier welcome as a traveller in the States than I have in any European country.

Although maybe that's because the Europeans thought I was American.

We're a land of immigration so we should be welcoming to foreign people. Typically it's more reserved for white people, though. IDK why.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

I know you emphasized to me the importance of reading Foucault but have you read Discipline and Punish?

this essay was supposed to be the forward for Animal Farm, but it mysteriously wasn't
Have you read Down and Out in Paris and London and/or Burmese Days?

The real funny part is that here's this kid with an interesting anecdote on interacting with Chinese nationals, and out of our collective narcissism we somehow made it about America. Cause we're the only ****ing place that matters.
