Started a DBT group a few weeks ago. I most likely have borderline personality disorder so cool. Big step up from my ruminating on reading about NPD and ASPD these past few months at least but it's still gonna be a long road to self-actualization.

I spoke too soon - my psychiatrist thinks I do have BPD. My therapist and the rest of my care team disagree. Regardless, as of today I have officially been diagnosed with Bipolar 2, and I would appreciate any anecdotes or related links to better understand the disorder.

Struggles with identity, intense emotional disregulation, impulsivity, intense fear of abandonment, splitting (black and white thinking, putting people into lumps of good or bad with no grey area), unstable relationships, intense anger. Just to read off the symptom checklist. Females can feel intense empathy or no empathy at all for some people, it can come on and shut off like a switch. Also misdiagnosed as bipolar a lot.
