Why is being punched in the face being treated as equal? I wouldn't punch Marie in the face cause she's a woman and I'm raised not to do that, but she seems to have a good head on her shoulders and is smart so assuming I was head of any kind of responsibility thing I'd probably trust her with any number of responsibilities over plenty of people I'd be willing to punch in the face by virtue of their dicks.

I mean what is your gatekeeping worth? Would you put a mouthbreather who could take a punch in a position above a woman you wouldn't touch?

I know I don't get the complete 'man treatment' but I don't get the girl treatment either. It's a weird thing in between. And I generally communicate and connect with men on a stronger intuitive level than with women

About the last part: fair enough, but I try to gauge if it would be ok and don't take too many chances

That was basically an example of how we're raised to treat women differently. If you read back the argument evolved to a question if whether she was being treated more like a man or a girl. I wasn't saying anything about qualifications for a specific job etc.

Yeah but you're using it as a gatekeeping argument to make sure she knows she isn't on your level. I mean what you're basically saying is ultimately true but you're not presenting it in an intellectual manner, you're presenting it as someone making sure his own sense of value isn't threatened. You know I walked through rural areas with starving children like on those tv commercials and **** through no man’s land between India and Bangladesh and all through the slums of Bombay and Calcutta. Sorry if you don’t think I landed on the conclusions I should have but it definitely influenced the way I think about the world and mankind. Maybe it’s not what you think. Maybe you’d think you can’t judge Rangoon unless you’ve been to Dhaka.
