fluoxetine
I’m fairly sure it’s just placebo. I quit taking it.

Don't think so tbh.

My bad. I think it might be placebo and is for some people.

Doctor's know a lot of medical sh*t, but they sometimes get things wrong. I always ask about contraindications with other meds and what bad side effects or first dose responses that might occur.

That’s smart

I just shouldn’t have said such a sweeping thing about Prozac

Frowny told me to take Prozac for my acid reflux the other day. Maybe we shouldn't play doctor.

Didn't notice anything at all. So I feel less nervous about coming off them now. I'm not coming off them soon, just saying when I do I'm not as worried.
i occasionally forget to take my bupropion but i've only had one negative experience because of it. it was almost a year ago now but i had only been taking it for maybe a month or two and then went 2 days without while in university and ended up having a panic attack in the middle of class that led to me sprinting to the closest doctor after convincing myself i was having a heart attack.

it's funny to think back on but at the time it was absolutely terrifying

Had the heart attack thing as well lmao. I went to A&E and had an ECG on my heart, the nurse was like "You're 22, calm down. It's not going to be a heart attack at 22." Posted about it in the old MH thread.

And yes it's terrifying.

I've had the same thing happen. If I miss the odd day I'll usually be fine but there have been times I've had to miss 5 days in a row or something and that will come back to haunt me. Panic attacks are no joke, especially when you don't know that's what you're having. And the brain shivers always make me think I'm having a ****ing stroke.

But hey the payoff is that I don't obsess over suicide every waking minute when I take my prozac so *thumbs up* worth it
