What if half of each group is black and half is white? Is it racist then?

Useless point unless you have some way to distinguish them. Outside of the accused party admitting their actions were based on the victims race, we can hardly ever know.

Attempts at rewriting what racism is usually read like an attempt at buying minorities free of the charge of racism, even when it's entirely appropriate. Reality is complex and uncomfortable. A member of a suffering minority is easily capable of also being a complete ****stain of a person, like for example being a racist.
