When I was living in Japan it was on the news that these old British dudes were burning the Japanese flag. This was like 50 years later and they were still pissed about the horrors they suffered serving in the British Pacific Fleet. A lot of Brits were killed by Japanese kamikaze attacks while giving naval support in the Battle of Okinawa. They blasted the **** out of the underground bunkers the Japanese were hunkered down in.
