Re: Facebook

Between Linda and I and my kids we have family in 8 different states. Because of my 10 years being an admin of a Shawn Lane forum I have friends all over the planet. (when my close friend and co-admin passed away 8 years ago I got phone calls from Germany, India, Australia, Ireland, and all over the states.

We all keep in touch via Facebook and share tons of stuff. It's an awesome vehicle for that.

I couldn't swear to it, but I'm fairly sure I saw the odd message saying basically "That sucks, sorry man" to you Chula from Frown. He may deny it of course, but I seem to recall seeing one or two lines. I do understand where he's coming from: if someone you traditionally seem to hate offers you his sympathy then you might take that as being sarcastic, or worse, throw it back in his face. FWIW, I'm sure Frown feels for the bad luck you've had to endure this year, even if he may not say it. No, I'm not inside his head (someone let me out!)...

It's not the pictures by themselves that are the problem. It's anyone who could potentially want to fuck with you because of the shit you've posted on here.

I'm more annoyed that you reference your life situation or novel experiences as an argumentative tactic in abstract discussions than I am concerned for your safety or anything like that, but think of it like this: you're a speck of sand on FB, but you're a piece of gravel on MB.
