^ This answer is worthy of Sun Ra. I'm going to remember it for when Frownland is famous.
__________________________________________________ _________ Everything I hear about North Korea sounds terrible; the poverty, repression and military obsession - and annoying though Trump's lies are, NK's are an even greater affront to anyone's intelligence:- Kim Jung Un, not a golfer, nonetheless got a perfect golf score: 18 holes-in-one. His dad, Kim Jung Il invented the hamburger, and never used a toilet because he didn't defecate. Does this level of official ridiculousness make the modest lies of Kellyanne, Spicer and Trump forgivable? Nope.

Oh, this is a thread already. How lovely.
EDIT: I think this article from Chinese state media is worth a look. China's government is aiming for a neutral stance on the Korean issue, and might be the most rational voice right now in the midst of all the warmongering.

What's needed is a multilateral agreement for de-escalation. This means that the U.S., which has the second-largest nuclear arsenal in the world, must be willing to make compromises, and take its own steps to demilitarize the Korean peninsula. North Korea is the weaker part in the conflict, with a poor economy, only one reliable ally, and a history of foreign invasion. China's leadership understands this better than the U.S. leadership and most Western media.

China is right there in their backyard and already have agreements with North Korea. They decided to just stay out of this conflict for far too long. They should have already stepped in with something.
