I can't help but suspect anyone who uses the word "degenerate" of being a fascist. It's just not a word real people use. Like "smut".

It's a a nice catch all term for anyone who falls outside of left-of-center tbh, AKA a lot of the crazier ones that you see get pitted against Peterson at some of his panels. I know a few people who lump them under the term "the alt left" but "degenerate" is more amusing.

What is the alt-left? That sounds like a term to give a false equivalence to the alt-right for conservatives looking to take the magnifying glass off of them.

And "degenerate" is very much a moral, social term and not a political term.
