Nah, his self-help style is very consistent no matter what the topic.

He said social hierarchies are "older than trees," which is true. I can't think of one culture, living or dead, that don't/didn't operate under basic tribalistic mechanisms. If it's less convoluted to compare ourselves to another prosocial animal, bonobos are thoroughly matriarchal.
You could say the Quakers but that was very short-lived and had to plug into surrounding society to survive. Were early hunter-gatherers considered hierarchical? Certainly tribal in some elements.

I'll discuss anything with anyone, Mr. Strawman.

Just in case anyone dismisses elph's because it came from a nature.com like I initially did.

Anyway, that doesn't really go against what I said since I made sure to focus on social dominance. The behaviours associated with social dominance are clearly things that can fluctuate from a matriarchal to a patriarchal culture.

It’s not a straw man argument to point out a thesis is flawed to its core.

Right, h/g's were certainly tribal, and don't quote me on this because I'm paraphrasing, but if im remembering correctly the more familiar social heirarchies involving power and class structures evolved once we took up agriculture and became less nomadic.

It is when you pose unnaturalness as the only alternative to biology.

That was my understanding as well, I was just trying to think of an example of a homoarchy.

If we’re talking about human behavior it is all biology.

All.

It is a ubiquitous component in all human behaviour, but it's obtuse to think that it's the only thing that can be at play.

So is it good **** btw?
