You know all this just isn't the same without Chula. Trollheart was the lynchpin for music discussion and Chula was the same for political scrums.

The thing is though his entire generation has already been tossed in the trash. They’re likely to become more and more radical as the permanency of their poverty and disenfranchisement becomes more apparent.

Honestly all politics aside... There is no rational reason for thinking your vote will ever make a difference.
It all relies on group patterns and trends. You don't cast a ballot for your group though. It's just doing so and hoping blindly others will do the same. But they make their decision independent of yours. So your decision has very nearly zero chance of having any impact. |

Yes. It's inherent to the system and it's my go to rationalization for not voting when the reality is I'm just lazy apathetic and can't be bothered.
I'm just as likely to pretend to vote for Bernie as I am to actually vote for him. |

What made Chula so great was his investment in a style of governance that left him extraordinarily unhappy. By defending it he was literally fighting for the psychological space to function. He was constantly in that I worked hard and it paid off I even have things camp but his actual existence was full of despair.

Equating not voting with entirely sitting out on political action tells me that you rank it to be the foremost method of political action despite calls for "both".

That’s basically what Foucault believed.
