My take, jwb, is that you lack the strength to honestly assess your situation as hopeless. You’re currently pretending there’s hope in a fake it till you make it facade but the truth is you’ll never make it. Batlord on the other hand has accepted reality for what it is, painful or not. It may not be helpful for Bat’s mental frame of mind but all your believe in yourself and make something out of yourself is fool’s gold.

My only stance is that I can improve my life. I'm not over here claiming to be the next Steve Jobs. Just that I can make things better for myself.

So far I'm in a better position than I was, so yeah I'm not gonna buy your thesis. You're just bitter cause like Batlord you feel you have no hope and you resent seeing it in others. It's transparent AF and frankly pathetic.

I can believe DWV's stance as it seems consistent with his personality. You on the other hand are clearly trying to build up your confidence cause you know deep down you're a miserable self destructive **** at heart who will only ever be that. If you do ever "make it" it'll be because you can live with the cognitive dissonance of not really being yourself.

If I took your ****ty advice 2 years ago I'd be dead by now.

Funny thing is you pretend like it's apathy but you spend so much effort defending it. It's not apathy it's cowardice.

Nah years of depression have blunted my emotions into apathy pretty good. Apathy and cowardice tend to go hand in hand. I'll bet you know that full well. You gotta be pretty dead inside to go around promoting Trump the way you did high as a kite.
