Are y’all joking or do you really not get Ant’s point?

He’s saying we don’t need to return to the agrarian servitude suffered by the people caught in 20th C communist revolutions and that we’re approaching the technological means to become post-money. He’s talking about using technology to serve our revolutionary goals.

Bingo. At least somebody knows how to read.

1) He thinks people are going to be forced to work 12 hours every day on a farm. We have a small percentage of farmers here and a surplus of food. We wouldn't need that.

2) He acts like people in a capitalist society are not over worked and are not denied the privilege to enjoy life because he's not a ****ing laborer.

3) When automation takes over you really think the people running the companies are going to give up an economic system that puts them in positions of power over everybody else? He wasn't saying anything about a revolution he was trying to talk **** on communism. He's putting forth the same idea people had decades ago when people thought we'd be working less hours for the same pay. Except what really happened is people got fired and Detroit never recovered.

I know you're not this dumb so I don't get why you pretend to misunderstand the undertones of his commentary.
1. None of the technology or convenience you take for granted today would have emerged in a communistic society. Why? Because nobody is incentivized to innovate in a society where everyone is completely equal regardless of how much or how little they actually do. Complexity is a bitch: even in today's most utopian, "I can't believe this job exists" environments where creativity is highly rewarded, getting people to tackle anything challenging is like pulling teeth. So yes, all things taken into consideration, you would be working on a farm 12 hours a day.

2. My previous post you say is "****ing stupid" actually makes your point moot here.

3. You don't read up on what's happening in tech or automation anyway. What the **** would you know about what's actually gong on? The rich only hold power over people because money has power. In a society where scarcity disappears, money loses that power completely. The only way to get there is if tech, AI and automation advance to the point where the things we take for granted as unchangeable constants actually dissolve. No matter what type of system of government emerges otherwise, the "haves" will always find a way to sit on top.
