I'm a scrub with no motivation. What's your point? Should I then not support unionization and mass movements cause I'm not personally engaged in socialist organizing? Should I be fantasizing like you about an American Caesar to seize control cause then the change will actively exclude my participation?

At some point in this thread did anyone discuss the Inflation Reduction Act?

Aside from J.P. Sinema's hedge fund bailout it seems like a pretty solid piece of legislation. I didn't even realize the negotiating power for Medicare was in there, to boot.

Accordining to one of my nutter customers, all it is is a ploy to go after small businesses.

He also thinks astrology is real, so, grain of salt.

Obviously I'm not saying you can't be favor of xyz issue without doing any activism but if you do none ever for any issue then either you feel it's not worthwhile or you don't really care that much about any of these issues.. Trust me I completely identify with apathy but stop trying to make it sound strategic. Or like you're waiting in the wings for the right moment to spring into action. Just say I care to the extent I hope xyz happens and that's about it.

Strategic? Bitch there was a period of like five years where I didn't leave the house and just existed in bed. When I did leave the house eye contact was terrifying and I would try to regulate my walking cause I was convinced I was drawing attention to how weird I walked. Self-isolation is my baseline and I have to make an effort to stay even somewhat social. This is not strategic or a statement of politics, I am simply a freak to the detriment to my political beliefs.
