Which was why they were in place, you simpleton. Wear a mask don't wear a mask, just shut the **** up about it. Two years and a million dead and I still have to hear from you cretins who've probably never been right about a single thing in your lives? A mask is the only thing between your mouth and my balls.

It's like arguing that "the highest unemployment rate happened during the period that FDR's New Deal programs were in effect". Even if true, that's not evidence that the New Deal programs did nothing to help with unemployment: the programs were introduced because of high unemployment rates, so it's exactly what you should expect to see. (This is just the first example I could think of, btw—I'm not very well read up on American history.) In fact, this could actually be spun as an argument for the effectiveness of mask mandates: if they were in place when the infection rate was highest, then the infection rate must have declined or levelled off while they were in place, indicating that they were effective at fighting against infection. Maybe you can examine my case above and let me know what you think

Anyone else feel like the Roe v. Wade decision is a Pyrrhic victory? I keep reading about states using traffic cameras to track women going to get an abortion and I'm thinking to myself, this feels like Charlottesville.
These idiots talk to themselves. Convince themselves that people want it, they get out of their bubble and the backlash is immediate. It's not the SCOTUS ruling that's going to freak people out. It's what the States do with it. The GOP talks a good game, but always gets some true-believer in the mix that doesn't understand the game and they blow it up for their party. I read somewhere that the general public didn't like how Merrick Garland was handled but only after Amy Coney Barrett. I think there's going to be a recoiling after Labor Day.

It's a harmless virus with 99.7% survival rate. Don't believe all the garbage about the number of deaths, it's all inflated. You're not protecting anyone, not yourself or your family. It's all about control. They want to scare you with statistics. Many of the mask boxes, clearly say on them, they will not stop Covid transmission. I've been without masks since they lifted the mandates. Guess what??? No covid here. It's all made up to scare you. Many states didn't enforce the masks because they don't do anything to stop Covid. Covid is nothing more than the common cold and flu. Get over it! |

So called Covid fatigue is suicidal idiocy by people who are so lacking in self discipline they deserve to be taken by the virus. Problem is their arrogant spoilt brat stupidity will raise it’s ugly head again when they expect intensive care in a terminal Covid ward.

Oh, and I would say don't shout, it's rude, but then, that's all people like you know how to do isn't it? Shout, shout and shout again, fingers in your ears, shaking your head till the virus magically goes away.

I warned you, Concept
Anyway, as far as the mask deal goes. It's kind of like getting a penicillin shot when you have the flu. You still get worse for a day or two but then the shot takes effect and you recover faster. It's kind of the same way with the masking, or least with those who did it. |
