Many Japanese I spoke to about race referred to other Asian races as ‘monkeys’ (猿のヒヒ) claiming themselves to be white. The only ‘whiteness’ I detected in Japan was the astonishingly high standard of performance of European classical music by Japanese orchestras. If they want to make that as part of their claim to being ‘white’ they’d better ignore the rise of European classical music in China, especially virtuoso pianists .

It's never been clear to me how they can hold both concepts as true. White supremacy and also Asians being vastly superior. I'd google it but I don't really care and I don't need to be put on any additional watch lists.

According to the F150 illuminati who record Replacement Theory diatribes in the cab of their truck, apparently the Aryan Bloodline is the best. Or something like this? I don't know.

On a more serious note, somewhere along the line I came across the argument that in the early 1900s, Japan was given White Status by the prevailing White Master Race crowd because they were conducting themselves the same way as Europe (i.e. Imperially) and it was used to justify their actions or something like that. It's been awhile. Maybe someone else knows.

I think the argument goes more along the lines of 'we're the Master Race but we're in decline because of all the gay frogs and people with pink hair so Asians are superior now because of their good old-fashioned Order and Discipline and if only we would take their example we'd be on top again, thanks Obama'. Also, I think according to most fascists intelligence is useful but ultimately for soy boy intellectuals, not as glorious as Virile Strength. And many young fascists probably grew up with anime so that may also be a factor

I'm glad someone else said it. Anime is the wildest thing I've seen hit culture in awhile. It's evidently made for children, but these morons will sit here and try to convince you it's high art. You can almost hear the logic. Sure, I never leave me garbage pile of a bedroom, and I'm a greasy unshaven mess, but if people just like, got it, they'd see I'm actually a genius who sees anime for what it truly is - the human condition laid bare.

As for the Asian thing, yeah I can see that. I also think it might be a bit of Double Think. The Asian is simultaneously cunning, brilliant, and ruthless in their quest for domination, but they're also weak, effeminate, and manipulative. I'm sure these people paid attention long enough to hear "You're a special boy, and the only reason you're not great is because Jews/Muslims/Mexicans/Asians."

It's not made for children. At least not the majority of it. I know that much, and I don't even like anime. Much of it has over the top violence and not-so-subtle sexual suggestiveness.

Whoa I'm not bashing anime in general. There's definitely a lot of stupid anime but some of it is good for sure. But whether it's good or not, the kind of fascists that are internet incels tend to watch it

That's the stereotype but the obsession with anime is a much wider phenomenon. It's probably as widespread among Gen Z girls, the majority of whom don't have any trouble finding sexual partners and aren't right wing in the slightest, as among the demographic you're describing. We've probably all seen this tweet and it's pretty spot on.

You really got the wrong message from that post, what a ridiculous generalization to make about a whole medium and it's audience.

You know anime is literally all animation from Japan right? Saying all anime is for kids is like saying all animation is for kids, what is this the 90s? It was parents with this lazy mindset who bought their kids a VHS tape of Ninja Scroll for Christmas.

It's true a lot of terminally online fascists are into anime but that sure as hell doesn't represent the majority of anime fandom. There are all kinds of anime that appeal to all kinds of people, like any other medium.

I never see these losers from 4chan with Studio Ghibli or Satoshi Kon avatars, it's always stuff like Attack on Titan because it uses fascist imagery, K-ON because they're pedophiles or some really sh*tty anime I've never heard of that no one likes except for them for either of the previous two reasons.
