It's money on the table. If the Dems won't take it, Trump should. Next, Trump should undercut the Biden/Harris ticket by federally decriminalizing marijuana (or promising to after getting elected).

Could he do that with an executive order? I'm honestly not sure.

He can't decriminalize it, but he can tell DEA agents to not enforce the law. He could do it as a Criminal Justice move. He's not that crafty though.
