Oh look at this aggressive lefty. Can't bring change with a 3rd party so lets bring incrementalism with the DNC.

I also get a kick out of the insane rabid dog hatred she gets out of people...even though she still would have been the most progressive president the Democrats ever had, including guys like FDR

ridin' with Biden is just the meme

Yeah **** off, you're nothing but a LARPer. You talk about punk cause you like getting attention with your clothes and like getting attention by talking about communism. You might as well go full Wiccan so you can cast magic spells with your upward facing pentagram necklace.

The Batlord 08-13-2020 07:57 PM

Bet you wouldn't vote for a DSA candidate. 3rd party and all.

They worship the office like ****ing sheep. They’re people who are actually proud to be Americans. They fly the flag and ****. They support a $600 billion military budget.

Chomsky is a property owning multi-millionaire who has charged thousands of dollars just to speak on campuses. He’s capitalist af. And bougie to his Hillary loving core.

I agree. But Tulsi wouldn't carry water for the corporate interests like Kamala will. Plus, she's anti-war, so no go. At least we'll get to see that clip of her ripping Kamala's ego apart in the debates on repeat as the election cycle continues.

Nah, you guys had a good point and made me completely rethink the way I use the word.

Fascism definitely is a vague buzzword.

I appreciate that you engaged honestly with the discussion and that jwb and I were able to persuade you to reconsider what the word really meant. Both sides of the political aisle have their buzzwords whether it be 'fascist' or 'communist' or 'nazi', but too often these words are used inaccurately or loosely. In terms of pure rhetorical efficacy, they can be useful in debates, but in any kind of academic discourse, it's useful to have a broader understanding of what the word means. I fully expect that the right will engage disingenously in calling the Biden-Harris agenda 'far-left' or perhaps 'communist' and it simply won't be true.

I mean Biden's female VP is de facto his first lady so I'd like to have the hottest first lady possible, and god damn Tulsi you fine.

We don't always agree Bat, but we do agree here. Not only hot, but sharp as hell.

EDIT: I think Google lied to me - despite what I believed, I don't think the above is Tulsi - but this is.

I thought you were all for incremental change? Yikes.

Conservatives are gung-ho for UBI? What kind of conservatives do you hang around with?

If you want a female president just imagine the smell Biden would get off that woman. He'd die in nirvana and we have a woman president in thirty days.

Lucem Ferre 08-13-2020 09:05 PM

My friend is trying to tell me that Trump is more liberal than Biden and also tried to call Biden a Neo-Marxist.
