Today my Republican grandmother finally told off my Trump dick riding extended family and their fear mongering. **** man, this is what we need right now. She asked if she should changer her party affiliation awhile ago (because we agree on a lot of stuff I guess), and I told her "nah, even if I don't agree with them on a lot, I'd rather have rational people in it still". With all the toxic stuff that's been happening politically, it's really refreshing having your older family members not be brainwashed with Rush Limbaugh styled craziness.

There's been a lot of ups and downs for both parties. When Lincoln freed the slaves? When Chester Arthur was implementing civil service reforms? When Benjamin Harrison was laying the groundwork for National Forests and protecting fur seals? When Teddy Roosevelt was establishing National Parks? When William Howard Taft was doing more trustbusting than even Teddy Roosevelt? When Eisenhower began the desegregation of schools and started the highway system project? When Nixon established the EPA and opened trade to China?

The problem is, with all of these presidents, and even with many of these efforts, you can point to negatives that could be considered "toxic". I don't know what you [OccultHawk] would consider a "non-toxic" action by a Republican president.

When Nixon, Reagan, and Bush died those were all non-toxic moves. Besides making my ****ing mail late.

Fair enough. They were all warmongers, I'm not a fan. But what of my list? Would you consider anything I mentioned "non-toxic"? Environmental conservation? Conservation of animals? Freeing slaves or perhaps opening relations and trade with other countries?

No, more like give Presidents less power, and impose term limits in congress.
