Well it wouldn't be Musicbanter if I didn't stand alone on one side of an issue. Just the same she didn't get my vote either, but I must say I echo the sentiments of the 44th President on the Jr. Senator from CA.

I'll bet Big3 was at the party in Get Out.

I think Tulsi pretty much summed up what there is to dislike about her at the next debate.

That's assuming of course that what is said about her record is true. Not gonna pretend like I fact checked it but I didn't hear her push back on it much.

Stop being such a diva. What "one side of an issue" are you talking about?

What president are you talking about? Are you talking strictly about numerical placement (Obama)? Or are you accounting for Cleveland's two non-consecutive terms and are talking about Trump? Quotes would help.

it's super rare you will change someone's opinion with new information, because we don't really get our politics from a set of statistics or whatever
Though I agree with the second part of your sentiment here, if everyone's politics were based on axiomatic values, we'd all agree and would have no use for this thread.

I think that elphenor is mixing up axioms and paradigms.

That could be. I prefer to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, which is why I tend to ask for clarification. I like elph (he's a Fall fan, how could I not like him?).

commonly used phrase in politics too
I don't know, typically, I consider an "axiomatic" value to be things that can't really be questioned, like peoples' rights to life and liberty, rather than something that is contingent on individual context.

It's generally the kind of word I'd expect a conservative to pull out when describiing the constitution - I don't think it's a word that's generally used in your average political debate.

Come on grindy, I had an open and shut case here, and you just had to come in and complicate it.
