Trump won Texas by 9 points. It's not a swing state. The fact that it's even close there is just a referendum on how bad Trump is doing right now. It has nothing to do with demographic change in the last 4 years.
Cali, it literally doesn't matter who you vote for if you live there. |

Can confirm that despite the decent range of leftism you'll see in city centres, California is riddled with enough conservatives to make it possible. The anti-mask/pro-Trump crowd is already significant where I live, a "moderate" could probably swing a lot of the less vocal conservatives and neoliberals. Seems like they've succumbed to defeatism though.
