I've listened to that footage so many times it's burned into my brain. I can honestly do a pretty good Jim Jones impression, or so my followers say.

Watching a live update from my governor asking Marylanders to vote via mail if possible, and quoting Obama that every voter should receive absentee ballots. He criticised the current federal administration for it's handling of the situation, and took responsibility for our abysmal mail in ballot system for the primaries. He's a Republican by the way, and I'm just amazed there are people with opposing views working together (he was keeping close contact with governor Cuomo) to actually make things better in these ****ed times.

I've honestly never heard of this podcast. I'll have to check it out based on the sentiment here.

In other news, here's something good that the Trump administration has done recently (I'm certain Trump had nothing to do with this).

Trump administration establishes $75 million quantum computing centers

Of course, how good it is will depend on what it's used for, but many of the technological leaps were made by government initiatives in the past (e.g. ARPANET and paving the way for the internet) - in the realms of quantum computing, most of the progress thus far has been made by corporations (e.g. Google, IBM). There's no reason why quantum computing can't be applied to solving problems like climate change and improving the economy and raising the standard of living for everyone. For those who don't know, Chile tried using a computer system (Project Cybersyn) in an effort to leverage computers for a command economy in the early '70s. The project failed and unfortunately, Allende was overthrown in a coup, but, to all those who still believe that a command economy can be more successful than a market economy, beefed-up quantum computers are perhaps the tool that is most likely to achieve that.

For whatever reason I saw that Trump has threatened to send federal agents to Baltimore. Why? Sparse peaceful protests, and our state government doesn't suck his dick. He's sending federal agents to stir up **** in blue states, it's disgusting. Please, please, stay the **** out of my state.
