That was a terrible quote. When I first heard that I was like whaaaaaaa?

I don’t know who watched the video Mindfulness posted of Biden talking with Obama but even in that setting he goes on weird rambles: “cops fire fighters and priests” ???

HRC was a much better candidate. Despite that, people seem to like Biden more than they liked her.

I don’t HATE Biden. I dislike him but I don’t hate him. I hate Hillary. That’s not based on politics. It’s Hillary’s power hungry smug capitalist face makes me want to bring a sledgehammer down on it. Biden is about the same politically but he doesn’t get my hate juice flowing.

Honestly Biden is just too much of a nothing persona to feel anyway about. He's probably a rapist, definitely some kind of creeper, oblivious to any harm he's perpetrated to black people through his stances on busing and the war on drugs, is the epitome of the wealthy liberal who feels no strong emotion toward any of the "little people" other than condescending paternal pity, but he's just so not anything of any kind that he might as well shed his human body and simply become the empty words of his quotes that we can read in print without any connection to a flesh and blood person with a personality.

It's hard to feel anything towards that. At least Hillary has this kind of robot manipulator vibe to make you feel some kind of loathing towards her even if much of the hyperbolic reactions against her are clearly sexist.

I think Biden just comes across as a doddering old man which is somewhat disarming. I don't think he even has beliefs really. He will basically follow the wind as best he can.

I hate Hillary but as far as competence goes I respect her more than Biden by far.

That Corn Pop speech basically sums up Biden and everything people dislike (or I guess like) about him. Wish Yang or literally anyone else sans Bloomberg had stuck it out.

Covid and UBI would’ve been a great recipe for Yang. He’s probably smart enough to actually articulate a plan out of this mess. Unfortunately, having good ideas isn’t a selling point in America.

I think it's a fair question to ask people who voted in the Demoratic primary, and are considering not voting for Biden in the Fall:

You participated in the primary. It didn't go your way, and now you're going to take your football and go home. So do you think Democracy is bull****? or do you just dislike your fellow voters and want their decision overturned?

She was completely with it mentally as far as I could tell. Not to mention, as a political manipulator, she was extremely talented. Physically though, she appeared to have issues. Needing help walking up stairs, coughing fits, collapsing at that 9/11 event, etc. Biden on the other is not completely with it mentally, but seems to be fine physically. Combine the best aspects of the two candidates, and there would probably be no way Trump could win reelection.

Some Democrats seem to believe that the opposition to Trump is strong enough that they could run anyone against him and win. I'm just not convinced. As Trump said, he could "shoot someone on fifth avenue and not lose any support". He has a pretty hardened base of support and it doesn't seem to matter what he does or says in regards to that level of support.

It's a bit like a dozen knobs all be adjusted slightly. A little less on the sexism this time, a little more on Trump having a record, a little less memory that there was a black guy as president, a little more on "oh yeah, those tweets kinda bother me."

The Democrats can't run anyone. But the negatives of his opponent are down. His negatives are up, and 2018 proved the suburbs were getting nervous. Now he doesn't even have the economy.

Keep in mind that even if Biden loses, if he allows us to keep the pressure up on the Senate and we take it, and keep the House, it would be a new dawn. And then the people crying about Biden can get what they want. More progressives in Congress and a Trump victory.
