Pretending that Donald Trump is respectable enough to warrant treating like an adult just because it would be unseemly to insult the president gives people the impression that he is in fact an adult. Yes. Absolutely. Just like how every reporter treats every politician with a base level of respect, no matter how thin, that maintains a veneer of professionalism and mutual co-operation. Somebody needs to lose their ****ing temper and call him an ******* and ask him why he throws brown people in camps like a Nazi.
