Yeah but that doesn't explain why he won California over Biden or some of these other states. If youth turnout is uniformly low, then that means he's being propelled primarily by other demographics.

I do think the potential for a Bernie type candidate to win is increasing over time... But as of now I just am not aware of who that could be. |

I think this is considered a swing state but my rationalization for skipping it is always that one vote doesn't matter and also if Biden is in I don't really want him to win. Same with Hillary. Will probably lie and tell my family I voted though.

NC it's technically a swing state too but I'm pretty confident Trump will win pretty much the entire South. |

I don't think so, with regard to Florida. It's been a swing state for as long as I remember. It was never solidly blue. And in terms of state government it's always been red from what I recall.
1) I don't believe that snow birds moving down there is any sort of new thing or that it's changed much in recent years. If anything it slowed down due to rising real estate prices and the housing crash. 2) If you look at the map for the results, Trump lost in South Florida by a significant margin. He lost the county he has his resort in, Palm Beach. He lost in Orlando and Tampa areas. He won the state by a little less than 1%, which is around what Obama won by in 2012. It's likely that Hillary could've won Florida if she was an even slightly better candidate. |

Also according to Google Trump won Texas by 9%. I don't see Bernie changing that.
And Bernie would probably do worse in Florida than a moderate would by scaring the old people and alienating the Cuban and Venezuelan refugees who have a visceral reaction to the word socialism. |

I think I heard Michigan's gov just endorsed Biden
Warren needs to endorse Bernie and Bernie needs to take off the kids gloves with Biden and stop preambling every meek attack on Biden with "Joe's a good friend of mine." No he's not. Grow a pair ffs. |
