Iran is galvanized. Many millions of people are hell bent on bringing the war to American soil. They could buy nukes from Russia. Who the **** knows what could happen. Our military is unmotivated. America is divided and uninterested. I totally think DC and NYC could get hit with dirty bombs or traditional nukes. We could lose. We’re totally underestimating a country that is justifiably furious and committed to violent retaliation. Sending 3,500 troops over there like that’s going to deter them shows how deep our stupid arrogance runs.

I find it interesting that John Bolton's testimony is announced on the same day we're debating the merits of a potential war that Bolton has been pushing for years, which Trump always resisted. Trump trying to cozy up with the newly identified witness??

Hassan Rouhani was elected on a platform of improving relations with western nations including the United States. Iran was very open to western culture before the revolution in the 70’s and there’s traditionally been a disconnect between their radical religious government and a large section of their population who wanted a more secular society. This assassination has eliminated all hope of ever finding common ground with Iran and despite your propaganda driven belief there was never any hope for a good relationship with Iran there absolutely was. We have now completely united Iran against America in way similar to the way America was united after Pearl Harbor and 9/11. The idea that we’re dealing with the same radical *******s is definitely a misconception. We have a totally different animal on our hands now. They are united and out for blood.
