Talk about a flip flop Frowny. "I said close to unanimous vote but that's not what I really meant."

A previous version of the measure barred the FDA from considering any information on safety problems as part of its approval process for a drug used under right to try. The latest version was modified to allow the agency to consider such information if it is critical to determining whether the drug meets the agency's safety standards.
Can we please just leave snake oil out of the discussion from here on out?

I won't leave snake oil out of it because that's the biggest issue that I have with the bill.

Imagine explaining why you voted against UNANIMOUS FREEDOM to constituents like Chula. They just don't get it.

Might as well support the church pushing exorcisms and prayer for the ill.

But that's an irrelevant non-point though.

Statist knee bender.

No. It's not better that some shyster quack profiteers off desperation. That's worse. As a society it's normal to protect the most vulnerable. It's abnormal to pass laws designed to drain the bank accounts of the afflicted and their family. Our healthcare structure is greedy enough already.

Another point is that this unproven and ineffective treatment might very well be invasive and make death even more unpleasant.

Death is unavoidable. Death with dignity is possible.

Ya, this is a great analogy.

What society do you live in?

One that saves women and children first :D
