In socal we get bioluminescent waves from time to time when there's an influx of a certain type of single celled organism. They're staying for longer than usual (I'm guessing that they're usually gone earlier because of beachgoers). When the cultures die and decay, it makes a red tide and it ****ing reeks. This usually happens to a small degree but it's longer this year, killing the fish and making some people sick. **** smell aside, it's been giving me headaches if I sleep with my window open.

It seems to be chilling out, I think it gets really bad on warmer days. We had a brushfire nearby last night and the smoke was a nice change of pace.

It's 9pm and it's still 20°.
Its still spring too. I rescued a froglet in my garden earlier. Little baby thing. It made my day. Put him in the pond and watched him froggy paddle to the other side then sun bathe on the pond bank. |

Walked home in the rain from the store
I needed food, I literally eat everything thats bought for about a two day period and then repeat at the store. I had to take my chances on walking in light rain now or hard rain maybe later. I said fucs it and walked.

100 degrees right now
Almost died carrying my groceries in. New ordinance demands masks. About 70% compliance. The parking lot was empty so I even took mine off. The first time I walked outside without a mask in a very long time. Probably got infected knowing my luck. Or my little covids are still floating out there looking for granny. My chest hurts like **** but the doc said that’s my new normal. Thank you Father Time.
