The coldest temps I’ve ever experienced was -27 in January ‘85
which was only a couple of degrees colder than almost exactly one year earlier. Around the same time - about December of ‘83 - we had a wind chill of -82. Told people to stay home and if you just had to take a bus to work that you should not touch anything made of steel - like the bus stop pole. This was Chicago in the early 80s. |
