^ Some people might call that a very harsh and extreme judgement on a 16-year-old who has done more than her fair share to highlight our environmental crisis - and if any people did call it that, I'm afraid I'd agree with them, OH, regardless of any loyalty I feel for you. Sorry!

I'm less concerned by some eye rolling "no breeding" pledge and more annoyed that she isn't using her massive platform (and media exposure) to get funding and attention to people who are actually creating solutions to our environmental problems. I've watched her speak and she doesn't say anything remotely compelling that some other 16 year old isn't already saying somewhere out there on the Internet.

We'd already have cost effective bacteria spreads that could eat up all the plastic in our oceans and landfills and baddass space mirrors if she (along with AOC and the other social media LibStars) actually highlighted those organizations and get some eyeballs on them.
