I don't stand for reactionary islamic response either (notice how conveniently regional those countries are and the thread of what defines "the west" though, I wonder if maybe there's some deeper rooted aspect to this that the religion is overshadowing...), but advising tact is nowhere near tantamount to apologism.

You mean the cases where the state manufactured threats from the minorities of their countries? Have another cup of kool-aid. Armenia is the aggressor because Azerbaijan said so. Gotta wipe em out that'll fix it.
