Van hits crowds in Barcelona - latest updates - BBC News

Summary

People have been killed and injured in a "massive crash", police say
Those in the area are reported to be taking cover in nearby shops and cafes
Local media report the driver of the vehicle fled on foot
Police say they are searching for the person responsible
The famous Las Ramblas boulevard is a tourist hotspot

Local radio reporting 13 dead (unconfirmed).
Reports of two armed men holding up a restaurant (unconfirmed).

Police confirm it's a terrorist incident.
