I think he's referring to the Muslims that view Mohammed as a perfect role model and try to imitate his life in every way. Dying their beards and **** like that. However, like virtually everything else in Islam, it's contested and debated by different sects of the religion.

Interesting to see the difference that two decades can make. About 75% of my coworkers are atheist/non-religious.
