Implying that not being British equates to not speaking (or refusing to speak!) English and that being British would deter people from reading the Quran to people in Arabic (oh the horror!) sounds like pretty plain racism to me.

Ah. Not sure if this thread got him banned, but I've enjoyed reading most of his posts. I mean, they're mostly fear-mongering nonsense that both can't let go of the past (Islam's expansionist history) and willfully ignores it (refusing to accept that Western influence dramatically altered the existing political strands of Islamic fundamentalism over the past century), but enjoyable nonetheless. One is only as good as their rivals.

To try and add perspective again. The O2 arena in London has a capacity of 20,000. That's a lot of people. Let's say there's 1 million people who are willing to commit acts of terror in the name of Islam. You'd have to fill the O2 arena 50 times to accomodate a million people.

Based on the number of terrorist acts currently being committed I'd say that 1 million is a pretty generous assumption.

1 million would represent 0.0625% of the total Muslim population.

Again, people need to put away their broad brushes.
