So you've eliminated Indonesia. I agree. Good start. Let's start with the A's... Afghanistan? Algeria?

You don't have one example.

Speaking for myself I don't come at this from the view that Islam is at fault on it's own, but it happens to play a part and the specific set of people who are causing these specific issues happen to be Muslims, and therefore follow Islam to some extent. And it doesn't matter if you think they are "doing Islam wrong".
Obviously we have to take into account other factors, but since the discussion is based around events in Europe I think it's a little more important to focus on the cultural and religious values these people may have - as opposed to Western imperialism - since they are actually in the West and fully able to take advantage of our available freedoms. The reason for any issue that may come about within the Islamic population in Europe probably has more to do with religion and culture than the impending threat of a drone strike.

While I agree that a lot of people kneejerkedly spit out that something isn't Islam when it potentially depicts the religion negatively, I think it really does matter if it's justified. Look to the various Muslim communities' denouncement of ISIS for examples of this.
I don't think you'd be making the same argument if someone equated conservatives with white nationalists.

I read that through and was gonna edit it but I think your comment works well enough.
I'm not sure how the denouncement of ISIS applies to this specific point though, since ISIS are clearly Muslims and follow the religion to some extent.
