Some would and some wouldn't. You proved what you're made of. Any coward can bully. Throwing in when there's a real risk, that's the test.

Reminds me a bit of one of my friends, when we were teenagers he would be the one to get us involved in fights by either mouthing off or starting it himself. The amount of times we had to tell him to just leave it. Remember once we nearly got into a fight while queuing for a ****ing ride at Alton Towers.

I had a friend who was starting **** unnecessarily in a bar and I told him if it turns ugly he's on his own. He still holds it against me. I'll have a friend's back if he's attacked but not if it he starts it. A girlfriend with a smart mouth, that's the ****ing worst.

It is ****ing annoying, especially when you don't want confrontation. He had this idea in his head that walking away was 'bottling it' so would go out all guns blazing every time not thinking about what the consequences would be.

Once my friend and I were drunk pissing in an alley and the cops caught us and said don't piss here the homeless sleep here. My friend said chemlawn is dumping poison on the ground in the suburbs. I immediately said "He's own his own. I don't want any trouble with the police." The cops told me to leave so I left his ass. He caught up with me later all pissed. I was like I ain't going to ****ing jail over that ****.

If your friend starts it and it's one-on-one you let him learn his lesson till he hits the ground.
