i can't see myself laughing at jokes about any of the topics mentioned in the last batch of posts. i can't really find any humor in the vid, and i feel like it'd be really awkward if someone tried to explain to me why they thought it was funny.
just not my cup of tea

Well, generally speaking, one can find something unfunny while also not being offended. Crude or offensive jokes are sometimes just unfunny, lazy and uninspired. (And not even because of the subject matter.) Especially when executed in a way which makes it seem as though we are supposed to laugh solely because it's ~edgy~ or offensive material. Some people just aren't funny.
edit: Yes I know my grammar is atrocious tonight; blame the benadryl. |

yeah, i wouldn't say i'm personally offended by them. to mb's credit, there's some edgy jokes posted on here, but they're relatively tame compared to what some other sites offer (even beyond 4chan).
like, i'm not putting anyone on ignore or reporting posts. i just think, for example, the vid's kind of cringey

i'm just assuming that i'd find their explanation awkward if i asked someone why they found the video funny. maybe i'm selling whoever short in the scenario i'm imagining, but if their explanation is anything similar to "that dude said rape", i'd kind of just be like "uuuuuuh cool".
my bad if you felt targeted. i'm aware you quoted and replied specifically to trollheart's post; i was replying more to qwertyy's post

i mean i didn't actually laugh so hard my ass fell off but i did chuckle at it. it's not funny because rape is funny, it's funny because it was awkward and a horrible thing for a commentator to say. it's like those cringe compilations on youtube that make you feel that uncomfortable kind of humour.
