Thats contradictory to the existence of all living things, not just humans. Also extinction and death are not the same. Also, welcome back.

Yup... my Remote Sensing/Spatial Statistics professor is urging us to get a head start on our final project data collection because a large portion of what I'm doing relies on data from the USGS site as well as NOAA. We'll see...
