Professors are dropping it from their curricula this fall.

Pretty surprising but in hindsight it's so obvious how opportunistic Zimbardo was with the study.

I think everyone pretty much already knew. It reeks of 1970’s hyperbole but there’s enough truth in the lesson to where it’s inconvenient to give up.

glucose and/or fructose are real sugars. They are still hard on your insulin system in high quantities. They're just not sucrose.

Still way better than soda ~40 g in 12 oz, though.

Yes it does. From my understanding the benefits of fasting include when you activate the processes that metabolize your intake. The second you ingest something that has to be metabolized you turn that system on. Thats why they say if you do daily fasting (say within a 10 hour window per day) you start the clock after your first sip of black coffee or plain tea.

You might want to do some more research that isnt reddit and psuedo youtube nutrionists.
