^ But it makes quite compulsive reading too because they do it so well. It's a slug-fest in which they seem pretty evenly matched in terms of stamina. I think I keep reading because I can't quite work out to what extent they are genuinely angry with each other or are just enjoying the cut-and-thrust of battle.
