Nah, see, ANYBODY that has an interest in Kanye West or Taylor Swift or anything trendy is not considered a hipster. The focus is on obscure things.

Hipstersdom is just another catch all phrase for youngins that applies outside the music realm. They used to be beatniks, hippies, pussies, slackers, etc.
