Why would you think it's harder to illegally cross the border in one direction than the other Lucem? That makes no sense.

So Canada estimates about 120,000 illegals in their country at most and deports about 35 a day.

The US is estimated to have 12 million illegals in their country and deports about 1,200 a day.

Who is deporting a larger fraction?

it needs to. i dont have the stats on hand but canadian families arent producing enough children to keep our population consistent. but yeah idk there's definitely a movement within the conservative party to halt immigration, clearly they didnt get the memo or something.

One could have stricter and more efficient border control. Also, from what I understand, a lot of illegals run in to suburbs in Canada.

The border is a line. If you can cross one spot easy from one side, it's the exact same coming from the other direction. It's not like there's a wall then a couple miles and then another wall and each country is responsible for protecting their own wall.

Or are you considering which country it is easier to go unnoticed as an illegal immigrant?
