I'm confused as to what the hell you're talking about. You can quote multiple people. I do it all the time.

The big point here is when is The Donald going to grow up and learn how to ignore/deflect criticism? Again, he's not even sitting in the chair yet.

Yeah I have to agree. The point being made was not, I think, that corporations should not be able to contribute to presidential campaigns, but that after they have done and their guy has won, that guy, the new president, should not be able to basically advertise for them. Payback like that is certainly unethical.
In a way you're right it's not the point because it wasn't a corporate donation. Linda Bean made a private donation, not a cooperate donation of the company's monkey. Mind you it was more than the allowable amount for that type of PAC, but amount would be allowable if it was a super PAC that can receive an unlimited amount. Scoffing at a $60,000 donation doesn't make sense when somehow other donation can be made in the millions of dollars.

OK the point was noted that Trump shouldn't had made a plug for LL Bean. And if you read Anteater's comment it was a no biggie, he's not in office. So why go after a company LL Bean which has no control over the matter?

In response to the boycott, L.L. Bean executive chairman Shawn Gorman posted a Facebook message on the company’s page over the weekend saying that the company does not get involved in politics.

“L.L.Bean does not endorse political candidates, take positions on political matters, or make political contributions,” he wrote. “Simply put, we stay out of politics. To be included in this boycott campaign is simply misguided, and we respectfully request that Grab Your Wallet reverse its position.” -- Huffington Post
Nice try LL Bean, Shannon Counter and her minions won't to see that, beacuase they are boycotting Facebook, dah.

For those upset that LL Bean might make money, please grab your wallet and mail it to George Soros. #grabyourwalletandmailittogeorgesoros

No, he's not going to withdraw the comment and two he doesn't have to. The federal law prevents people in the executive branch from endorsing companies but presidents/president elects are exempt from this law. He can endorse all the companies he wants to all throughout his presidency.

Does it seem unethical? Damn skippy. Is it against the Law? No.
